We had a very laid-back conversation about creativity, a little of my life story, and how I go through the writing process to make my characters 3-dimensional. My wife and I were on a walk this morning and one My wife and I were on a walk this morning and one of the songs she had playing led to a major brainstorm for Book 2 in the Tales of Aras Fire and Lightning series. I spent the next couple hours recording notes and doing math to make sure the numbers are correct. Normally, I don't do math unless I have to. But when I'm writing, I have no problem doing calculations and math. Now, I have some notes for the second book, I have additional information that will open the door for additional stories, books, and anthologies.
