November is National Novel Writers Month. The writ November is National Novel Writers Month. The writing challenge is to write a 50,000 word novel in a month. I have done this challenge in the past with mixed success. I have been a bit torn this year because I still have revisions to make on the first novel in a fantasy trilogy. I would like to start writing the second book in the trilogy. I calculated it out and if I get 1,667 words written on the new novel everyday, I can devote the rest of my time to revisions. What do you think? Should I forego writing a new book and focus 100% on revisions? Or should I try to do both?
