Today I did a Google search for Tales of Aras : Becoming Fire and Lightning. I found it on more bookseller websites than the major ones. I even found it on eBay by sellers in the USA, UK, and Australia. I knew the book was selling in Europe, but I didn't know about the Land Down Under!

I recently had the privilege of appearing on The Mind of Sai Marie podcast!

As I was thinking about this interview, I started counting how many interviews I've done since my first one on May 7, 2026. If I counted correctly, this one makes number 19! NINETEEN interviews in less than five months!

WOW!

When I published Tales of Aras: Becoming Fire and Lightning, I had no idea about the interviews, the people I'd meet, and the opportunities that would open up to me.

God has been very merciful, gracious, and faithful to me. Thank You, Father! All glory goes to You. None of this would be possible without Your power.

I also want to thank everyone who purchased the book, shared my posts, listened to the interviews, left reviews, or encouraged me throughout my writing journey. Your support is invaluable!

Ever have a Scripture verse slap you in the face?

Ever have a Scripture verse slap you in the face? This one got me this morning.

"They promise them liberty, when they themselves are the slaves of depravity and defilement—for by whatever anyone is made inferior or worse or is overcome, to that [person or thing] he is enslaved." (2 Peter 2:19 Amplified Classic)

The Holy Spirit revealed things in my life that I allowed to make me inferior to the man of God that Jesus freed and made me to be, make me the worst possible version of myself, and I'm letting them overcome/enslave me. He was gentle, but firm in His rebuke.

His correction also came with the encouragement found in 2 Corinthians 12:9a (Amplified Classic). "But He said to me, "My grace (My favor and loving-kindness and mercy) is enough for you [sufficient against any danger and enables you to bear the trouble manfully]; for My strength and power are made perfect (fulfilled and completed) and show themselves most effective in [your] weakness.""

He provides the power to change. I have to receive it and act on it through the process. When I ask for help and then don't act on what He gave me, I receive it in vain and grieve (to distress, cause sorrow, make sorry) the Holy Spirit.

What's a scripture the Holy Spirit gave you that was like a whack in the head?

Connections Magazine published a new review of my

Connections Magazine published a new review of my Christian fantasy novel, Tales of Aras: Becoming Fire and Lightning. You can read it here:

Book sales have been doing well. But book reviews are still very low. Reviews do not have to be long. They can be short with a star rating. If you have read the book, please jump on a platform like Amazon, Goodreads, Barnes and Noble, Books-A-Million, ThriftBooks, Walmart, or any other seller's site that sells the book and post a review.

A huge thank you to those who have read it and told others about it. Word of mouth is important. Book reviews take it up a notch and really help with promoting the book.

Thanks!

Exciting author news! My fantasy author interview

Exciting author news! My fantasy author interview with Alan R. Warren on The House of Mystery podcast has been published in Pageant Magazine! Thank you, Pageant Magazine, for publishing the interview. My interview with Al was the first podcast interview of my author career. It was fun, and Al and his co-host Michael Hawley were gracious hosts. They understood my nervousness and did a great job of helping me relax.

Check out the published interview here:
